Our mission
Every year, thousands of children are removed from their homes because of abuse and neglect. Every family who opens their home to them deserves a church that surrounds them. Too often, that care runs on a hundred text threads. Details slip, people burn out, and families wait.
Fostering Family gives care teams and their Champions one calm, secure place to coordinate the emotional, spiritual and practical support that families caring for vulnerable children need.
How it works
Fostering Family mirrors the way foster care ministries already work, so it feels familiar on day one.
01
Bring every partner church and region into one view, each with the leaders who carry the vision there.
02
Champions are the lay leaders who rally their congregation. They see exactly the families and teams they lead, nothing more.
03
Volunteers form care teams around a specific family, with meals, visits, respite and prayer organized in one place.
04
Families caring for vulnerable children are known by name, prayed for, and supported consistently. Never forgotten.
What's inside
Foster, kinship, adoptive and birth family records, each with its own care team, notes and files.
See every partner church, its Champions and teams, grouped by region for clear oversight.
Training, background checks and fingerprint clearance, with reminders before anything expires.
Direct messages, team chats and ministry-wide announcements, with read tracking built in.
Team meetings, family visits, trainings and meal deliveries, all on one shared calendar.
Volunteer hours and families, adults and children served, by region and church. Export to PDF or CSV.
Log donated goods with their value and credit the churches that gave them.
Training resources and documents, shared with the teams or families who need them and no one else.
Impact you can show
Boards, donors and partner churches want to know what their support makes possible. Fostering Family turns everyday activity into clear reports, without a spreadsheet in sight.
Web and mobile
Ministry leaders get the complete experience on any computer, right in the browser, with nothing to install. Volunteers get the same screens in a mobile app, so a care team can check the meal schedule, message their Champion or log hours from the driveway.
Private by design
Children in care deserve discretion. Every part of Fostering Family is designed around who should see what, and who should never see it at all.
01
There is no public sign-up. Every account begins with an invitation from ministry leadership.
02
Every ministry gets its own instance of the app. Your families, churches and records stay yours alone.
03
Access follows each person's role. A Champion sees their own churches and families, not the whole ministry.
04
Fostering Family is shared by a ministry, for ministries. It exists to serve the foster care mission.
If each church came alongside one family, there would be more than enough homes for vulnerable children.

Who is the Fostering Family app for?
It's for churches and faith-based ministries that support children and families in foster care. Inside the app, ministry leaders, church Champions and care team volunteers each have a view built for their role.
Why is it invitation-only?
Because the families in the app are caring for vulnerable children. Keeping it closed means everyone inside was invited by ministry leadership.
Is it a mobile app or a web app?
Both. Fostering Family is a full web app that runs in any modern browser, and a mobile app with the same screens. One account works on both.
Our ministry isn't Fostering Family Ministries. Can we use it?
Yes. Faith-based ministries that serve the foster care mission can request their own private instance of the app. Your data is kept separate from every other ministry's.
How do we get started?
Choose the path that fits you in the Get involved section above, or use our contact page. We'll follow up to learn about your ministry and walk you through next steps.
